We are delighted to announce the addition of our new Princess Anne Hunt Merchandise Page! The merchandising team has been busy working on a new variety of PAH logo offerings that are ready to go, just in time for the 2020-2021 season!

In the apparel department, we have terrific new PAH logo items, including polo shirts made of performance fabric that are perfect for riding. Will we be dining outside this fall? On offer are PAH sweatshirts, vests and two types of insulated jackets that perfectly fit the bill. All apparel items have the PAH logo done in a colorful embroidery by Paddock Threads, purveyor of monogrammed and embroidered linens and custom apparel.

We also have a smattering of choice in the home décor department! From hemstitched linen cocktail napkins and guest towels to tumblers to wine totes, we’ve got just the thing for tailgates, hunt balls and everything in between!

The best part? These items will be shipped directly to you so there’s no need to wait for a meet or social function to enjoy them!

So, please indulge in a bit of retail therapy – a portion of every purchase goes to our hound cookie fund! And why not? We’ve got something for every taste!

For questions or comments, please contact Mary Finney (mhfinney@aol.com) or Franci Wayland ( franciwayland@me.com)

    8:30am to 1:30pm
PAH Kennels - 12200, Tyler's Mill Road, Charles City, VA 23030

       ~  FOXHUNTING 101 SEMINAR  ~

A different format this year, due to the uncertainty of the ongoing national situation, and for the desire to maintain some form of social distancing. For just one day you will have the chance to visit the kennels, walk out with hounds, play with their puppies, absorb everything shared during an informal talk on the history of hunting, the tradition and etiquette; clothing and livery, who wears what and why; the life of a foxhound, in kennels and in the hunt field; a narration of a day of hunting, including the horn calls and verbal commands, the role of each staff member and field masters....and so much more!

Anyone interested in PAH, whether you are a rider or not, is welcome! We are an inclusive group and want to share our way of life, our passion, with you.
    * For those riders who want to try hunting with us, you will be given a certificate for a free day of cubbing, to be utilized in the fall of 2020, before Opening Meet.

If you would like to attend please respond, via Messenger, on Facebook with the full names of those planning on coming. Pre-registration is compulsory!
You will be expected to sign-in upon your arrival and we would be grateful for a minimum of a $15 donation as hounds always need to eat!
Bring along a chair, your lunch and your beverage of choice.

Any questions either Message PAH through Facebook or text/call Sue on 540-454-4890

A cold but fun and informative day was had by those who turned up at the Beechland Foxhound Training Preserve this past Saturday. Those who did not attend, that was a shame as you missed a special, social event that you must plan on for next year.

A welcoming stirrup cup started the day off during which
Martyn "auctioned off" the puppies (thank you to all the competitive bidders) who were then attired in numbered vests for easier, long-distance identification.
Just Martyn and Sue were on horseback with the field members dressed up for the weather and walking.
Everyone got to hear hounds in full cry, as well as viewing plenty of healthy foxes, which gave the foot followers a new, totally different, perspective on hounds and hunting.

Hopefully, you have all got to see Melissa's excellent photographs that captured the day perfectly. melissawilliamsphotographs.smugmug.com

Once all the hounds were caught up and back in their trailer, everyone entered the Club House and were greeted by tables groaning with food and plenty of adult libations, thanks to the wonderful Kelley family!

"Potion" and "Martha" were named as joint winners of the best working puppy.
Franci and/or Hank were voted as having the tastiest hip flask concoction....well, maybe as no-one can really remember!

All proceeds and winnings were generously donated to the hounds which amounted to over $1,000. A great day!!
