Festival of Foxhunting Clinic 2022

Plan to join the Princess Anne Hunt for an interactive program that will increase your knowledge, safety and enjoyment of foxhunting. Hunt supporters, landowners, novice and veteran riders are welcome and encouraged to attend. You’ll learn what the hounds are doing in the hunt field; tips for horse and rider turnout; as well as tips for safety and enjoyment in the hunt field. You can also do some foxhunting shopping and members will have a chance to pick up this year’s hunt booklet and membership directory! Please register here.
$10 Members, $25 Nonmembers, Juniors - $5
(Non-member Clinic attendees will be invited to foxhunt on Newcomer's Day - Oct 8th)
Festival Agenda
8am: Hound walk. Enjoy a walk through the countryside with the PAH Huntsman and foxhounds.
9am: Registration and Stirrup Cup. Members pick up their new season packets.
9am – 1pm: Foxhunting retail vendors available (Dreamshine-equestrian clothier; Fox Chaser's Den-consignment equestrian apparel and decor; Grey horse tack shop-equestrian clothes and decor).
9:30-9:50am: Horse training and Conditioning for Foxhunting
10:00-10:20 am: Horse Turnout
10:30-10:50am: Attire in the Hunt Field
11:00-11:20am: Etiquette in the Hunt Field

11:30 12:30: Hound Demonstration with guest Huntsmen discussing breeds
