Fox Hunter Junior Day at The Capitol

Save-the-Date: Fox Hunter Junior Day at The Capital is on Friday, January 23rd

Once again, Juniors are invited to the January General Assembly. This has been a HUGE hit with our Legislators! They enjoyed meeting the kids from their Districts. For the 2026 Legislative Session, Fox Hunter Junior Day at The Capitol is on Friday, January 23rd. Rappahannock Hunt will be recognized for its 100th year anniversary. This is a wonderful educational opportunity for Juniors in your Hunt. We hope to see many people there! 

Please either contact your legislator or send your district to the Masters, so coordination with your legislator can be made. 

Attire: Dress warm and formal Hunt attire is always welcome 

Agenda

7:45 - 8:00 am: Meet at Legislator Building cafeteria, 9th and Broad St, Richmond VA. Juniors have opportunity to meet with their legislators.

9:50 - 10:00:  Walk to Bell Tower on capitol campus

10:00 - 10:45: Rappahannock Hunt with hounds at Bell Tower for 100th anniversary presentation

11:00: Walk to House Gallery and Hunts will be recognized during legislator session
